The Monticello was a adult home. They closed it due to a flat roof replacement, ceilings collapsing, walls peeling and bubbling, and the halls having water damage. The people who closed it down said "a foul smell of mold permeates the air. Water stains, mold and a generally moist environment are present,”. Inspectors also found bedbugs and and residents with bedbug bites. There isn't much history on the internet about Montecello Manor so if anyone has any additional history please let me know. This was the 1st hospital in Monticello in which I was born in 1970. Next door was the nursing school in which my ,other graduated from in the late 60’s. It was Monticello hospital Leave a Reply. |
